Initial Situation/Challenge:
Our Partner is an organization employing around five hundred people in Poland, selling advanced industrial equipment. Most employees have a technical background. The management structure is relatively flat, but certain individuals have been identified as crucial for the organization’s proper functioning and potential successors to the current managerial staff, who will be retiring in the coming years.
The management aimed to prepare high-potential individuals (Talents) for independent managerial roles—focusing on people management, leadership, maintaining authority, and business area management. These individuals were expected to exhibit entrepreneurial qualities, view the company holistically, and understand the interdependencies between different departments. Until now, their expertise had been quite narrow, and they had limited opportunities to observe the company’s operations from a broader perspective.
